01. Introduction Welcome to Hotel Meghdoot & Resort

Welcome to Hotel Meghdoot & Resort, located on Indore Road, Near Triveni Naka, Gram Dendiya, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh - 456010. Operating since 1989, our property spans 196 luxury rooms and suites, 3 open wedding lawns, 2 air-conditioned banquet halls, a swimming pool, and pure vegetarian dining facilities.

By making a reservation, accessing our website (meghdootresorts.com), or utilizing any services offered by Hotel Meghdoot & Resort, you acknowledge and agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

02. Check-in & Check-out Arrival, Departure & Timings

• Standard Check-in Time: 14:00 hrs (2:00 PM IST).
• Standard Check-out Time: 11:00 hrs (11:00 AM IST).
• Early Check-in & Late Check-out: Early check-in (prior to 14:00 hrs) and late check-out (after 11:00 hrs) are strictly subject to room availability and may incur additional tariff charges. Prior confirmation with the Front Desk is required.
• 24-Hour Front Desk: Our reception desk operates 24 hours a day to assist guests with arrivals, pilgrimage transit, and Bhasma Aarti wake-up calls.

03. Identity Verification Mandatory Guest Identification (Govt. Regulations)

In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and local law enforcement authorities:

• All adult guests (18 years and above) must present a valid government-approved original photo identification document at the time of check-in.
• Accepted Indian Photo IDs: Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, or Driving License. (Please note: PAN Cards are NOT accepted as valid address/identity proof for hotel registration).
• Foreign Nationals: Must present a valid Passport and valid Indian Visa along with a completed Form-C registration.
• Hotel management reserves the right to deny check-in to guests who fail to provide valid original identification without entitlement to a refund.

04. Tariff & Payment Pricing, Taxes & Settlement

• All room tariffs and package prices are quoted in Indian National Rupees (INR) and are subject to prevailing Goods & Services Tax (GST) as mandated by the Government of India.
• Reservations must be guaranteed by a valid advance deposit or authorized payment gateway transaction.
• Incidentals, in-room dining, telephone charges, extra bed services, and laundry must be settled upon presentation of bills or at the time of check-out.
• We accept major Credit/Debit Cards, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Net Banking, and direct NEFT/RTGS bank transfers.

05. Resort Guidelines Pure Vegetarian & Sanctity Guidelines

Being situated in the sacred holy city of Mahakaal (Ujjain), Hotel Meghdoot strictly maintains the sanctity of our premises:

• 100% Pure Vegetarian Environment: Bringing non-vegetarian food, seafood, or egg preparations into the resort rooms or public areas is strictly prohibited.
• No Alcohol & Prohibited Substances: Consumption of illicit substances or unruly public drunkenness on resort premises is strictly prohibited under local regulations.
• Non-Smoking Rooms: All guest rooms are designated non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated open-air outdoor zones. A deep-cleaning fee will be charged for violations inside rooms.
• Quiet Hours: For the comfort of all pilgrims, families, and senior citizens, quiet hours are observed between 22:30 hrs and 06:00 hrs.

06. Banquets & Events Weddings, Conferences & Lawns

• Event organizers and wedding parties must adhere to permitted municipal noise decibel guidelines and outdoor sound cutoff times (usually 22:00 hrs) as per Supreme Court of India directives.
• Outside catering is strictly prohibited; all food and beverage services are managed exclusively by Meghdoot’s seasoned catering kitchen.
• Any damage caused to banquet interiors, lawn decor, landscaping, or electrical infrastructure by event attendees or third-party decorators will be billed directly to the primary host.

07. Safety & Valuables Luggage, Lockers & Parking Disclaimer

• Guests are advised to store valuable jewellery, cash, and electronic items in the in-room electronic digital safe or the front office locker. The hotel management cannot be held liable for loss of unsecured valuables.
• Complimentary guest parking is provided on-site. While 24/7 CCTV surveillance and security guards are present, vehicles and contents are parked at the owner’s sole risk.
